PAYMENT METHODS

You can pay for your order with any of the payment methods shown at checkout.

Card and online payments are processed by secure external payment providers. Your payment details are sent directly to the provider, so Quiltilus Studio never sees or stores your card data.

If you pay by bank transfer, you will receive the account details by email. The order is processed once the payment has been received.

All card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses or does not authorise the payment, Quiltilus Studio is not liable for any delay or non-delivery.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Digital products (PDF patterns) are delivered electronically. Once the payment is confirmed you can download your files. No shipping costs apply.

Physical products are shipped from Mallorca (Spain) by postal service or courier. Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are calculated at checkout, according to the destination and the weight of the order, before you confirm your purchase.

Orders are processed and delivered according to the working calendar of the carrier, excluding local, regional and national holidays. Delivery times depend on the destination.

Shipping costs include VAT where applicable and may be modified by Quiltilus Studio when the carriers change their rates.

RETURNS

Please check your order when you receive it. If the package arrives damaged, note it on the carrier's delivery note if you can and tell us as soon as possible, with a photograph.

If a product is faulty, is not the one you ordered or does not match its description, write to info@quiltilus.com or call +34 627 778 422, explaining what is wrong and attaching a photograph. We will repair or replace it, or refund you, at no cost to you: Quiltilus Studio pays the return shipping.

LEGAL GUARANTEE

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007: three years from delivery for physical products and two years for digital content. If a product is not in conformity, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge and, where that is not possible, to a price reduction or a refund.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive a physical product to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason. To do so, tell us within that period by email to info@quiltilus.com or by phone on +34 627 778 422. You can use the withdrawal form at the end of this section, but it is not compulsory.

The right of withdrawal applies only to final consumers, not to companies, and only to certain products or services.

Article 103 of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users lists the exceptions in which the customer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal, including the following:

  • b) Contracts for the supply of products made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • m) The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, when the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and with their acknowledgement that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

If you withdraw from the purchase, the cost of sending the products back is paid by you.

The products must be sent back within 14 calendar days of telling us, unused and in their original packaging. We will refund the price and the original standard shipping cost within 14 calendar days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method. We may wait until we have received the products or proof that you have sent them.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS (PDF PATTERNS)

Digital patterns are delivered by immediate download once the payment is confirmed. By placing your order you expressly agree that delivery begins straight away, and you acknowledge that once the download has started you lose your right of withdrawal, in accordance with article 103 m) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. For this reason, digital patterns cannot be returned or exchanged.

If the file is faulty, cannot be opened or does not match its description, write to us at info@quiltilus.com and we will correct it, replace it or refund the amount you paid.

PATTERN LICENCE

All Quiltilus patterns are protected by copyright (© Catalina Barceló Maimó, all rights reserved). When you buy or download a pattern you receive a licence for personal use only. You may not copy, share, resell or redistribute the pattern or its templates in any form, on paper or digitally.

You may sell handmade items made from the pattern, sewn by you on a small scale. Mass production of any kind is not allowed. If you sell or show a picture of your finished item, credit for the pattern must be given to Quiltilus Studio.

TAXES

The prices of the items shown on the website include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.

Purchases made within the Member States of the European Union are subject to VAT.

For purchases made from countries outside the European Union, and from the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, the prices shown on this website are net prices.

APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPLAINTS

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, please write first to info@quiltilus.com and we will try to resolve it. If you buy as a consumer, any dispute will be settled by the courts of your place of residence.
